12 student concerts and 180 performers!

Student concerts restarted in August, performing to small COVID-safe audiences at the Conservatorium.

Since then, we’ve done 12 student concerts with a total of 180 individual performers!

Well done to all those students, youth and adult, beginner and advanced, and thank you to our teachers for getting their students ready to play on stage.

In Term 1 and Term 2, there was no chance to get up and perform, because of COVID-restrictions, so these performance opportunities in the second half of the year were very important to our students, especially those preparing for AMEB exams.

Many students performed for the first time, and they found it was actually quite enjoyable! We’re looking forward to even more students taking part in our concerts next year.
