Opportunity for young singers 10-14 years

Do you love to sing and perform? Are you aged 10-14 years?

Register now to try out for a place in Macquarie Conservatorium Youth Chorus, and the chance to perform in Opera Australia’s production of CARMEN at Dubbo Regional Theatre on Saturday 19 June.

This is an exciting opportunity for young singers, boys and girls, to develop vocal and stage performance skills, and experience the thrill of performing onstage in a professional opera production. Places are limited. Please note: the Chorus will be singing music for soprano voices only - boys must have unbroken voices, there are no places for tenors or basses.

Chorus rehearsals are at Macquarie Conservatorium Dubbo every week on Wednesdays at 6.00pm, from the start of Term 2 until the performance on 19 June.
Opera Australia will conduct a special after-school workshop in the week before the performance. On Saturday 19 June, Chorus members are required at the Theatre from 3.30pm until the end of the performance approx. 10.30pm.

Friday 19 March 5pm OR Saturday 20 March 4pm.
